Re: Urgent help, voltage worry (with print screen)

the 12v and 5v are way out of ATX specs
I would check the numbers in the BIOS as it could be a software read error

If they are similar in the BIOS then I'd get that psu out of your pc asap if not sooner.

This is one of the problems with el-cheapo psu's when they cannot cope they go more and more out of spec as they don't have over/under voltage protection and can do serious damage to your pc.

If you've got a spare lower demanding graphics card then I'd swap out the 5770 for it now untill you can get a decent psu.
Also remove any overclocking/core unlocking, bring the system back to spec.

actually mate, i think it may be a software error as o checked the bios and its at 11.7v,
il double check this again, using different software and see what i get, im buying a new corsiar or seasonic psu tomorow anyway

11.7v is still worrying low on the 12v, esp as the system is not under load in BIOS esp the gpu
11.4v is minimum for atx specifications and 12.6v max, however your system can get unstable before that esp when overclocking.

    *Ahem*

HWmonitor reports my 12v as 2v
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
