I have used on in a recent build and they are indeed rebranded OCZ / CWT

Not bad for a cheap PSU , but i would use a branded one if it was a high end build

And as for warranty... if a psu blows up under warranty... fair play... you get a new psu under warranty. you dont get the motherboard, cpu, ram, hard drive, gpu, sound card etc that it took with it when it went north...

Umm yes what I meant was how did you determine that it was a CWT unit?

I know how I would do it, how did you find out that info?

@Zak, yes that's a risk you run with any psu, even good ones can go south badly sometimes, of course the better the psu the less chance of it failing catastrophically.
The issue is what the rebrand is? If this was say a rebrand seasonic unit, maybe excess stock of an older model which could explain the price, for all we know this could be the same unit that corsair used for the very short lived HX450w, which would make it a brilliant psu at a bargain price.

I suspect that the 400W modular PSU is a rebranded OCZ ModXStream 400W.
