    Hexus,

It turns out getting a university degree was harder than I thought. It's time to get rid of my gaming machine turned dedicated folder - I'd be easily tempted to put in graphics card and waste a year of my life, so it has to go. I've been out of the loop for a while, so I don't have the best idea of what my rig could go for.

Parts I'm putting up for sale:

    Intel Core i7 920 D0
    ASUS P6T SE
    6GB Crucial 3x 2GB 1333MHz CL9
Thermalright 120-Ultra (old version with bracket for 775 & AM2)

Everything is about a year and a half old and boxed as new.

    Cheers,
    Dave

Not certain how much you would get for it but I can offer two pieces of advise: firstly sell it asap because as soon as sandy bridge comes out it will depreciate even more in value, secondly maybe you could have a go at selling it on these forums in the classifieds section.

Random stab in the dark I would say £250-300 (maybe 300 is optimistic definately closer to the £250 mark). Lots of bundle deals on 930s and 950s with ram and a similar motherboard around the £400 mark ... therefore getting between £250-300 for a 920 plus motherboard and memory would be good buisness.

I plan to sell this ASAP for that reason... and I have exams in January

    Any ideas on individual prices?

Well mate, I just bought a mobo and RAM for £140 but I reckon you could manage a bit more than that for sure. Im in the market for an i920 if you do plan to sell it, would be willing to pay £130-£140 - which is what ive seen D0 revisions going for (presuming its D0). TRUE - £20-25.

I prefer the CPU, MB and RAM to sell as a bundle, but failing that I'll sell separately, your interest in the CPU which indeed is a D0 has been acknowledged.

The heatsink isn't a TRUE, i.e it's the non extreme version.

I just sold my i7 rig for almost exactly the same reason as you; depreciation in value once Sandybridge comes out and also because I'm in uni now. I got £155 for my i7 930, £115 for eVGA Micro X58 SLI, £80 for Asus P6T Deluxe V2 refurbished with no accessories and unboxed and my 6GB crucial ballistix tracers 1600mhz cl8 are still on for £80 but there are quite a few watchers, perhaps you can try £60-70. These were sold in ebay over the last few days though so you'd probs knock off 10-15% of these prices if you were to sell on Hexus classifieds.

I'd say about £150 for your i7 920, £100 for your P6T SE, £65 if your RAM are the Ballistix ones, £55 if they're just standard CL9 with no heatsinks. Not sure about the cooler. Again, these are ebay prices so knock of about 10% if you were to sell on Hexus.
