New parts for small gaming rig

As per title i've thought alot about building a new pc, modding it to how i like it then fitting it with new system parts ok so i only upgraded a little while ago but so what XD

Anyway this is the board im thinking about,

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-...-raid-microatx

i would be happy to change it mind! i've been putting alot of thought into the idea...as soon as i have the insides worked out im going for a tidy "clean" modded look, the kind with no cables showing and such

thoughts? or any boards i should consider?

the system is based around an i5 750 BTW, I'm also not about to bother with sandy bridge, it does not appeal to me in any way!

What case are you looking at? that's going to be one of the biggest factors is getting a clean cable management setup.
That and customising cable lengths, a modular psu and customise the cables would be a good start.

If you haven't already looked; bit tech is mad for the socket your looking for.

In terms of cases; local collection off ebay seems quite popular if you life in a populated area.

Re: New parts for small gaming rig

Agree with others id like to see that, yes btw even in my thread XD

Onto my rig though, im not going ssf, it has to be a mATX style so no cubes either

Thanks for the input so far! the ASUS board is the possible winner atm, i would like to change it due to hating the ASUS brand...seems i always have trouble with them,

So i've already got the gpu, memory and cpu. It's just the board i need....

What do you mean bit tech is mad for it?

Re: New parts for small gaming rig

Yes that Asus board does look like your best bet.

if you're doing this to a relative budget too then novatech has got a 5850 for sale at £123

Rats, sorry it's changed and gone up to £144 still a reasonable price though.

Does that SG-07 fit full size ATX PSU ?

The SG07 already comes with a 600W PSU.

There is also the Lian Li PC-Q08 which can also use an ATX PSU:
