    two in one

    hi there,

been on this site for some time now, and thanks to you good people i now have what i consider to be a better PSU than my last one which was an EZ cool. So a big thank you to all that helped with this.

My first question is about GPU i have been saving to get an MSI 460 HAWK but now im hearing that in some months there will be a 560 coming out, im sure you can guess what my question is, should i go for the 460 or wait and go for the 560.

Second question I've been looking to get a sound card for sometime now, as been reading up on what a difference have a dedicated one is over a the motherboard ones, plus I'd like to hear the difference myself, and if anyone on here could help by sharing what they know. would also be interested in your input on a good speaker system or headset.

thanks for all your help in advance

On the sound card, that's audiophile territory, personally I never notice the difference, however I will say that correctly setting up speakers can often have more effect than you might realise.

the 560 is set for release Q1 2011 so could be as late as march, unless your 8800gt is struggling I'd say wait or shop around now for a cheap 460, 1gb, factory overclocked for preference

i decided to go for the ausu xonar D2X and i can not believe the difference in sound i didn't think it was going to be that noticeable, but dame it is. I am watching all my blu-ray and hd-dvd collections all over again just to drown in the beautiful sounds.

Yeah, sound cards really do make a difference, everything just sounds better.

Yes, I agree alot of people say they can't here the difference between on board and dedicated sound, I have a logitech x530s' and can hear a major difference. Sounds are more fuller and richer; great for music listening and gaming too.
