Just installed windows to my new SSD and my old 200GB maxtor drive is recognised and accessible but my new 500GB f3 is not. It is recognised in Bios however. Any ideas?

Maybe it is not formatted? go into disk management and have a look, You can format and allocate it a drive letter there too.
That was indeed the problem, Flibb gave me a hand on steam. Thanks guys, panic over :)
