It looks like 2011 will see many new processor families being released. What ones are you looking forward for?
I am not sure if Intel Ivy Bridge will be released this year but I added it just in case!
AMD Bulldozer
AMD Ontario and Zacate
AMD Llano
Intel Sandy Bridge
Intel Ivy Bridge
None - my PC should be fine for a while!
What is a CPU?

All Bar Sandy Bridge for me.
Ontario/Zacate for a cheap laptop/media centre
Sandy Bridge is not fast enough to justify the cost to me - it's about twice as fast as my Q6600 but that's still fine TBH.
Bulldozer as hopefully it'll be faster than Sandy Bridge and therefore justify an upgrade.
Llano as I hope it makes AMD able to provide a brilliant Desktop CPU for not too much cash.
Ivy Brige because I expect better performance and power efficiency and it's another possible Q6600 replacement. The ultra fast video transcoding of Sandy bridge has me interested as well. Hopefully Ivy Bridge makes it possible to use some more advanced H.264 profiles.

I voted for Bulldozer, but what it will come down to for me is price/performance/overclockability
Bulldozer, mainly because its so late!
Bulldozer here as well. As long as its at least as fast as Intel in most things and faster in others it will (and overclocks) it will be a hit.
Other: Sandy Bridge E (skt 2011)
Not been keeping up with this. Is there a nice overview article that I can read and get myself up to date?
Bulldozer mostly but i guess all of them, its always interesting to see how the two manufacturers compete with each other at the different ends of the market.
I honestly don't think bulldozer is going to blow Intel away, i would love it if it did however i dont think it needs too, just needs to be enough to keep them on their toes. With it being a totally new architecture its more likely going to the first stepping stone in a new direction.
I am mosted excited about bulldozer probably but I doubt I will do any serious cpu/mobo upgrading in 2011... probably even try and stick out 2011 with my HD 4850 as well .
Still as biscuit pointed out ... still interesting to read about it nonetheless.
have to say I hadn't heard of ivy bridge or sandy bridge E.
I voted Sandy Bridge. Mostly because it is so close to being available and I want to upgrade my "server". If Bulldozer manages to arrive before I do the upgrade then I'll take a look but TBH I tend to go for the absolute fastest that I can afford which will probably be Sandy Bridge.
I've not been paying much attention so don't really know what is what but, I won't be upgrading for a few years yet.
