is this board any good?
Why does it only support 1333 Ram? Would I be able to use 1600?
I will be overclocking probably.
Will I miss USB 3.0 or Sata III? Do they make much of a difference?

It's decent but overkill perhaps, what CPu would you be using? Have you bought a CPU yet?
Phenom IIs only have official support for DDR3-1333mhz but you can get RAM up to 1600 no problem.
I am going to get:

I was thinking of the x6 1060t i think it is at a few pounds more, slower clock speed but more cores, not sure if thats worth it or not..
I caught a naughty sneak glimpse of Sandy Bridge prices today, and so deciding to stick to AMD
For that money I'd get a 1055T 95W though, or the 1065T when it appears at retail. Well worth an extra £15-£20.
I'm thinking the same.
I am hoping the release of the Sandy Bridge might make the AMD Phenom X4 prices drop a bit though.
I personally don't think the 965 is worth the extra over the 955 (unless I'm missing something):
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/amd-p...l-cache-retail
but then the 955 isn't in stock at the moment.
I have heard a lot about the 955 not being worth it, but the 1055t being a very worthwhile upgrade, if you can afford the little extra, that overclocks a lot cooler and reaches the over clocking capabilities of the 956 at stock!
Plus at £140 its not a bad price seeing as the 956 is £132 ish...£8 difference is not bad AFAIK.
Yeah the if 2500k is £190 - I was hoping £150
And the board I want (UD5 at the lowest!) was £215
These might just be premium prices because they were up early though....although apparently it was a mistake so I doubt they would have whacked on a premium!
Anyway, I think I am going 1055t with a H50 and overclock it on the crosshair board...thats if my psu will take it
The Phenom II X4 955BE can be had for around £114:

Also, the P67 motherboards supposedly cannot run Quick Sync:

For me if I was going to spend £100 on a mobo I would go intel. The real prices fro SB will be out next week and even some of the locked chips perform really well.
For cheap ram you can try these never bought from kikatek before though.
I believe that model number corelates to some really quite good ram.
EDIT: 2400 is about 150 and the 2500k about 175 at Aria via froogle.
