Well i think i am going to buy a 6850 but I am looking for the quietest , relatively cheap and with a minimum warranty of 2 years. I think the best one for that is the asus 6850 i saw one at scan for £148 anyone know of any place where it is cheaper.

You can check on skinflint which covers most major electronic retailers. Thumbs up for that card as well, runs cool and effectively silent on my girlfriends pc.

I think i should settle the one at scan for 148 because free delivery and if something goes wrong i know scan has great customer service

I would wait a few weeks more until the GTX560 is released. The HD6850 1GB should be under £140 TBH.

Have read good things about the £147 dual fan version from XFX too for temps and noise. A couple of reviews here, this is for the Black Edition with same cooler and the Regular Dual fan version. On a side note, also saw several reviews saying the single fan version from XFX did well on Temps but was pretty loud, so avoid that one.
Also with XFX you're looking at 2years warranty so worth considering along side the Asus imo.
