    Anyone know were to get a cheap external HDD?

    Should this not be in Hexus Hardware ?

    Ebuyer normally have some good deals, choose a drive you like the look of and has the longest warranty if you want to buy a premade one.

    That said the best option is choose an enclosure and then choose an OEM hard drive with a long warranty and build your own.

    I've had good experience with newegg myself - they are quick with shipping, have a huge selection, and generally have a LOT of sales and clearances

    We cant buy stuff from Newegg in the UK, id look at Scan or Ebuyer. The WD mybook is a nice external drive Ive used lots of times at home and at work.

    Amazon had a good price on the 320gb external HDD I bought for the GF for Christmas. Try them!
