    Price Check - Dell Poweredge SC440

    Cheers for looking in, just looking for a rough value/selling price on a Dell Poweredge I purchased (and massively upgraded) a few years ago to learn ESX on.

    Specs -

    Dell Poweredge SC440 - Black Case with space for 2*5.25, 2*3.5 Internal and 1*3.5 External Drives
    Intel Xeon x3220 (which is a good binned Q6600) Quad Core
    4GB DDR2 ECC
    500gb Seagate Drive 7200.10
    ATI 32mb GFX Onboard (does not share mem)
    Broadcom Gigabit Onboard
    LG DVDRW
    PCI Firewire Card

    This machine is silent in operation, couple of minor scratches but nothing terrible and is supported by pretty much all operating systems, Windows, Linux, Solaris, ESX...The only reason I am selling it is because I realised I don't need a powerful home ESX rig anymore.

    Dont suppose anyone could recommend what price I should put it up for sale for?

    Again Thanks For Reading.

    £200-250 would be a fair price.

    Since when it was new a dual core 1.83 + 256 ram was £170 delivered, and that was 3 years ago.

    * I bought 2

    Thanks Guys.

    Yeah my thinking was around £200-£300 but just wanted to check, after all, its only worth what someone wants to pay for it. The alternative is to split but might be more hassle than its worth.

    Ideally I am planning to sell and replace with a Netbook for downloading to save on electricity bills.
