    Antec Aria

Just got a mail from my Supplier at work about these and thought oooh

little larger than a lot of SFF cases , but its just that bit beefier ( takes m-atx boards )

that + I might be able to get it cheaper than a lot of UK retailers ( well the ones I've seen so far )

It taking matx boards is quite good, certainly much more room for expansion with the extra PCI slots than the normal SSF.

I'm gonna trust Antec on this one

I like Antec cases. Fantastic quality on the Performance Plus 660AMG and the Sonata boxes I have at home.

Yeah they always seem to pull the decent items out of the bag and this is no exception! Looks can be deceiving Shogun, give them the benefit of the doubt and be positive, I'm sure you won't have any problems

PC World tested this machine along side a Shuttle.
"Geez .... What were you thinking" was one of the memorable quotes.

    Also
"the installation took over 2 hours, twice as long as a shuttle"

The article goes into a big rant about how the internal design is rather poor and they failed to remove the largest component of the PC — AIR

"Geez .... What were you thinking" was one of the memorable quotes.

talk about out of Context FFS.

    that actual quote is...

Geez, what were you Soyo folks thinking?

he is referring to the poor design of the motherboard ! ( which has naff all to do with the case )

Its hardly rant of the century.

Let pick a couple of more accurate quotes....

"I'm starting to fall for the Aria"

"Finally, the Soyo motherboard and Aria case combined will run you about $190. That's not exactly cheap, but it's less than the Shuttle's $250 starting point."

    I rest my case.

    Wait for the Hexus review
