    First mainstream AMD Fusion review...

    Here:
    http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/17/h...fusion-review/

CPU wise seems to be about 30% faster than the Atom 1.8Ghz Dual core at PCMarkVantage. Just for comparison (I know it's not the same thermal bracket) but it's within 7% of the Core2@1.3Ghz, used in the original Alienware m11x.

GPU is about 10% slower then Ion2 (full fat 16core version used in EeePC 1215N) in 3DMark06. No real world benchmarks unfortunately.

3D mark isnt the best of benchmarks to use by itself IMO. It always seems to favour NVidia cards even when real life gaming proves otherwise.

On a side note, any idea if faster fusion chips will be coming out this year? I mean these walk all over atom, and the gpus seem to be around the ion2 level, but will we see something that get anywhere near Sandybridge and it's GPU performance?

AMD Bulldozer is the processor which will replace the Phenom II but the version released this year will not have an IGP.

AMD Llano OTH will be based on the current Athlon II/Phenom II processors with some additional tweaks and will have a powerful IGP. Rumours say that the IGP will have between 320 to 400 stream processors.
