    Unhappy Fat batteries

I bought myself a set of Uniross 2700mAh Performance batteries & charger round Christmas, & have found they are noticeably a fatter battery than my existing Uniross. A few reviews on Amazon say same (reviews that have been made since I bought them, unfortunately). They will work in some things, but the 2 main things I wanted them for are v. tight & actually won't work with them in. Camera they will just fit in but won't work, & digital radio the back won't even fit on.

I was going to buy a set of older-style 2700 Unirosses off Amazon but it looks like the sellers are actually sending out the Performance anyway.

Anyone know a brand of rechargeables that should fit my items, ie Encore for example? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Encore-EN000...560467&sr=8-27 Don't want to keep buying & returning more if I can help it...

    Thanks

    Re: Fat batteries

I had a similar problem with some Fujicell batteries, they are slightly fatter than a standard AA and work in most things apart from my Scope which has 5 AA's side by side.

The only ones I found that were the normal diameter of a standard AA were GP brand 1300mAh.

    Re: Fat batteries

Use GP and Energizer here, both perfectly normal batteries as far as I can make out. 1300 and 1500 respectively.
