How much for this rig ?

Be upgrading very soon so after some advice on what to do with the old comp.

    Do I :

    1) Sell the bits individually
    2) Sell it without any disks or put an old 300GB HD in and a Linux OS

Mate of mine has offered me £150 and would be happy to put his own HD in. Does that sound like a fair price ?

    Here's the spec :

    Intel Q6600 G0 2.4ghz

    Cooling
    Cooler Master Hyper 212

    Motherboard
    Asus P5Q Deluxe

    CoolerMaster 650W

    Case
    Thermaltake XavierV

    Monitor

You'd get slightly more for it as individual parts but then you're not guaranteed to sell it all and you have to pay postage.

£150 seems reasonable as a complete system, if he is a friend.

    It's 4.98*

    What PeterStoba siad.

I tried to sell all the parts from my old system on ebay but not all got sold so now I am left with half a pc.

So yes you could get more for parts but aleast this way everything not needed will go.

Re: How much for this rig ?

I have just sold some similar components on Hexus, and got £75 for my Q6600, £40 for 4Gb DDR2 RAM, and £60 for my P5Q Deluxe. So that is £175 for just the main components. If you let your mate have the complete system for £150, he'd be getting a huge bargain!
