Where is a headphone/mic jack?

I was looking at the specs of the speakers I am going to buy, and it said that it didn't have a headphone/mic jack. Are they usually supposed to be on speakers, or on the monitor, or on the motherboard with the speaker jacks?

depends on what speakers your after ,5.1 setups may well use up all your connections depending on what soundcard / motherboard u have

a speaker jack is also your headphone jack (the green 1)

I know this is on another thread, but could someone PLEASE realy to the multimedia kit thread - you don't have to own it - some, questions you might know the answer to.
