    Intel i3 560 stock cooler?

Would like to build a hackintosh using an i3 560 but also dual boot for a bit of gaming perhaps. I know its a 73w chip but how good is the stock cooler on idle and load? Would appreciate some feedback from someone who has an i3 560 with stock cooler. If it is too loud on load then I might just buy a cm or tk heatsink with the new rig.

Re: Intel i3 560 stock cooler?

On heavy load it's quite possible that it'll be whiny, since the heatsink is very low profile. Some AC Freezer 7 Pro or similar (CM Hyper TX3, for example, i.e. something with a 92mm fan would be enough) would do very nicely, though
