PCI or USB?

In another thread I explained some of the problems I have been having with my home Broadband. I am thinking of going wireless as the coverage here is really good.

If I do, which is the best wireless option, a PCI card or a USB dongle?

If you have a spare slot I would suggest PCI as it is neater. I believe the actual wireless bandwidth is slower than the PCI bus or the USB 2.0 bus so in shouldn't really matter speed wise.

Thanks for that...so which would be the best option if it was line broadband to a wireless router transmitting to a carded or USB desktop?

I would have thought PCI card would be better as they would have better antennas than USB variants.
