    Recommend me a wireless mouse...

Been using MX310 mouse for the last 6 years [durability eh?] and its been great.

Some time ago right button stopped responding so I bought another MX310 which was really hard to find as they aren't manufactured anymore.

Now I'm thinking what if I go wireless and buy a mouse that's on the market and likely to stay there for a bit?

Can anyone recommend a wireless mouse what can be used for FPS games?

I'm playing a lot of Unreal Tournament 3 so responsiveness and lack of lag is crucial...

Ergonomics similar to MX310 would help as I got used to it over the years.

    Pic of MX310:

I bought MX700 from Classified for a fiver to see how that turns out, mainly to test how good wireless in games actually is:

    Any ideas what to buy?

    Thanks,

    Adrian

I remember the old MX700 with great fondness, I loved the shape of it and was great for games.
Only problem is the one that effects all wireless mice, forget to charge it and run out of juice in the middle of a session, then there's nothing you can do but wait an hour for it to recharge

Razer Mamba, some love it some hate it & it costs a fair bit too. It can be used wired or unwired.

Roccat Pyra wireless version - probably close to the size/weight/feel of an mx310. Might be a bit too small tho.

If you got midget hands like myself Logitech VX revolution is an outstanding mouse and I guess ergonomically fitting for you.
I had 2 of them as well and still have 2nd one here (usb dongle was stolen with my laptop )
Very good build quality, I gamed competitively with it for a while so sensitivity isn't an issue and you get a ton of binds.
I think they might be replaced by something else now though - not sure.

    What's your budget btw ?

like the razer mamba but its like £100, way to much IMO... i went for a Microsoft sidewinder X8 in the end, extremely good mouse and beats the mamba tbh and you also get the support of MS warranty (excellent incase you didnt know ).

Normally <£45, comes with 3 sets of mouse feet and is wireless +wired charge cable. gunna contact MS to see if ican get new feet as mine have worn down a bit though.

Logitech M705? I think that's the replacement for the discontinued MX620 I have which is a great mouse. It's fairly heavy compared to wired mice but it feels right for me. The M705 is a bit smaller which may or may not be a problem depending on the size of your hands. Also the claim about battery life (1 year) is about right.
