    Laptop Components Pricecheck

Nothing too interesting here, but selling on behalf of a friend so want to get some third-party estimates

All bits ripped out of a Sony Vaio

UJ-870 Slimline IDE DVD Drive, seems to be DVD-RW. Proprietary laptop-style fascia might make it a pain to sell?

    2x1GB DDR2 SODIMM set

160GB Momentus 5400.3, not sure on age

    Re: Laptop Components Pricecheck

    UJ-870 Slimline IDE DVD Drive - £20
    2x1GB DDR2 SODIMM - £15 (Assuming branded)
    160GB Momentus 5400.3 - £15

The UJ-870 iirc is a universial drive, the fascias can be interchanged between OEMs so for example an ASUS user seeking a UJ-870 replacement can take off the Sony fascia and fit an ASUS fascia from thier faulty UJ-870.

    Re: Laptop Components Pricecheck

Nice one, cheers. Didn't realise there were interchangeable fascias so that should help things a bit.

And yeah, it's Hynix RAM so no problems there. Thanks again
