Considering that it gives you I/O errors I would start the troubleshooting with the SSD.
Also, check the windows event logs, it's a good place to start too.

I don't know how to do either of those things
SSDLife says 100% health (and I think this program is just a picture of a full health bar tbh).
Lots of errors in the system logs, several per minute relating to the northbridge (or at least the Northbridge is mentioned as the component which is implicated). I think my £45 motherboard might be taking its revenge.
You might try reseating the heatsink, just because the heatsink is cool doesn't mean the chip is. And software temps aren't always correct.
Would somebody like to find me the drivers because I'm lazy, tired, annoyed and incompetent. I have a 750G northbridge and a SB710 southbridge but AMD won't let me have any drivers because they are morons. Thanks for any effort you decide to put in.
I assume you mean 760G? CCC Package is here: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloa...win7-64.aspx#1
But those chips should fine with the default drivers, it's any extra chips that are usually the problem. I doubt installing those ^ would solve this.

Oh and the SB drivers are under the optional downloads bit.

Updated the SB drivers, all running smoothly....
here' shoping. Thanks a lot!
Hmm, maybe something corrupted or changed the driver. Or maybe Windows 'updated' it?
Going to reinstall windows tomorrow unless someone has a better suggestion
It's still going bad.
Get some cooling on the chipset?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
It's not the chipset. It's just not. It's cool in the case anyway.
The heatsink might be cool, are you sure the silicon is?
Have you tried stopping folding for a bit?
To check if it's hardware/software related, boot into a LiveCD and use it for a bit and see if it still happens.
I've reinstalled windows. We'll see what happens. So log as I don't have to reinstall 50gb worth of games it's not too much hassle, and I just copied them over. Will report on what happens next, thanks again guys
