    Re: 3xscyclone

I suggest you post your current system specs. It will be very difficult to recommend an upgrade if we are unaware of what you currently have.

    What is 3xscyclone?

I don't think anyone will know where to start with the information you have just shared.

    Re: 3xscyclone

Aye, some details about the build would be helpful mate.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

give people a chance, relax, check tomorow.

why do you want to upgrade? whats lagging for you? by no means is that a slow system.

also that spec makes no sense atall.

    Re: 3xscyclone

    Why is there a 480 and a 570?

If that's your system now and you have either of the the above cards then there is abslutely no need to upgrade, IMO.

No need to upgrade anything in there. Nothing should lag your system game wise. be happy with what you have there some people would kill for your watercooled system.

    Re: 3xscyclone

I'm guessing from that slightly incoherent mass of stuff that he's got a water cooled gtx570
i7 socket1366 CPU which seem to be cooled by a akasa Venom ultra with two Apache fans in push pull.

So what's the problem? why do you want to upgrade? there's nothing wrong with that system it's pretty top of the line as is.

    Re: 3xscyclone

As far as I recall from when I was looking at a pre-built last year the 3xs Cyclone has a watercooled Oc'd gtx 480.

I can't see a need to upgrade this but each to their own

Also - and I'm not sure of this - but it might be a wee bit of a pain to remove that card. Also not sure if you can add a 2nd one of these cards to the loop. Might be easier to sell it and get one of the dual core cards that are coming soon.

Unless you are gaming at very high resolution then I think the only real benefit you will get will be the bragging rights as your current set up will handle almost anything at 1080p.

If it was me I'd spend the money on a really nice desk, chair and maybe a surround sound system? Or maybe a new case? Damn I wish I had a grand to spend right now! Jealous!
