How do you remove fingerprints from your Shuttle?

I guess this applies to any aluminum case. Anyway, I've got a Shuttle in for review and a mate of mine came round and proceeded to put his grubby mitts all over it It's got fingerprints everywhere and I need to get them off before doing the photographic work

Any tips?

I tend to use a damp cloth preferablly lint free if possible.

Microfibre cloth. Works a treat, no water involved.

Ive been using one of those CD cleaning cloths...

vodka works great when used with a lint free cloth as it desolves all the fat and dead cells left as fingerprints ( and probably other bodily bits as well :x )

I used a soft cloth and a little rubbing alcohol in the end, everything is as new now

Cheers for your tips folks and look out for your collective handywork when the review goes live. She should be fingerprint free!

a grinding disk normally used for cutting bricks and blocks up....

try Stihl....they make the finest stuff

Well I fell for the little cube's charms so much I've purchased her. Only my second XPC, the first an old SiS-powered SS51G which ran my 2.26GHz P4 and which I eventually gave to a friend in need.

Tempted to tart it up now, I'll start another thread for that though.
