    yep i did this it says windows cannot find a better matchthan the drivers already installed

    well it might well be ok, if you have at least one EHCI entry. best bet is to try plugging a USB2 device (like a USB2 pen drive) into assorted USB ports - windows'll throw a hissy fit & tell you off if it thinks you plugged it into a USB1 port
