    Dvd +? -?

I've got a Sony Vaio desktop with a DVD r/rw drive.

May be a silly question... but how do I find out if I need DVD-R or DVD+R to put in it?

Go onto the Sony website, look up the model number and get more information on what the drive is capable of reading and writing.
