It doesn't really tell us much though.
if these number are true then it's a huge clock increase when the turbo boost activates (at least compared to the P2's 400Mhz boost)
I wonder how many cores/modules have to be idle for it to work.
Why have a single model number having different boost frequencies? ie the 2820 appears in 3 different flavours!
It's a good point. Also - why wont the 3220 boost as high as the 3120 (unless it has more cores).
The different clock speeds could be dependant on how many cores\modules are being used, the highest ones could be used with most of the chip shut down at idle, at least that is the best thing I can think of right now.
