    Headset advice

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new headset but not exactly sure what to buy, its been a while and some advice is needed! Here is my spec:

Will go through a 2.1 soundcard.
Can be USB - I do have a 360 but its not a deciding factor.
Need to be able to move the mic out of the way so I don't get mic in beer fail.
Will use them for both gaming/Teamspeak and listing to music. Would prefer ones which are good if not excellent for listning to music.
    Comfortable.
Will be using it with Track IR Proclip.
    Would prefer unidirectional mic.
Budget is £70 but can stretch to £100.

    Thanks!

    Re: Headset advice

Since your main concern is music I'd personally say do away with the idea of a headset and get a good quality pair of headphones with a clip on mic. Something like a Pair of sennheiser HD555s or 558s, if you want to break the bank the HD595s are supposed to be very good.

Iv'e personally got a pair of Roccat Kaves which are very good but require a 5.1 soundcard as a hookup.

    Re: Headset advice

As jasp said above get a stereo headset and use the virtual surrond sound for PC. Another two options to look at are the goldring DR150
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...pf_rd_i=468294

or goldring NS1000 which apprantly need an amp if the noise cancelling is off
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/GOLDRING-NS1...ref=pd_cp_ce_1

Most headphones are overpriced here compared to America so what may be good bang for buck over there isnt as good for us. Just somthing to bear in mind when reading reviews etc.

I planned to do just what you're describing but couldn't find a decent clip on mic!

In the end I went for a Beyerdynamic DT 234 Pro headset.
