    Best laptop for < £350

Need a laptop for general media and office use, nothing intensive. So far I've found this:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Noteboo...3581448&sr=1-1

Can quite happily add ram to a cheap thing if it works out cheaper, want 3-4gb ddr3 ideally.
    Suggestions?

There seem to have been loads on HUKD reently, a lot of Pentium dual cores which won't set the workd on fire but might be more than sufficient for your usage (ie do you need an i3 if it adds to cost?

Try laptops direct or Dabs, they often have reduced prices on A/B stock - functionally fine but broken box or missing paperwork etc.

It's just that none of them can justify the premium/deficit in price compared to the one I linked to in OP. Thanks though guys!

Re: Best laptop for < £350

The Acer from Tesco has twice the HDD + a 2.53 vs 2.4Ghz i3 for an extra £20 (plus clubcard points )

3% Quidco (excl VAT total) from Tesco Direct so £8.75ish as well.

EDIT: Oh, it's even the same bloody model just higher specc'd!
