These price cuts don't seem to have hit the UK yet... Unless the sellers are just getting greedy!
Hopefully the sellers in the UK are still just selling stock bought at the old price.
Once these have been shifted the prices should drop.
All price drops are good news to me!
Not sure the 1100T will come down quite as low as that once VAT and possibly import duty is added but you never know!
The 1055T is only just over £130 at Scan at the moment and often drops a few pounds lower than that on Today Only:

It's been that price for a while so with a further drop will be a bargain.
Bargain prices to be fair !
how does a amd pehnom II black edition 6 core precessor compare to the likes of a similar priced i7? are intel much better at the moment? because u can pick the phenom up for about £250 from pc world and the most expensive i7 is far higher. Pay for what you get or just being ripped off?
Price drops always take a while (usually 1-2 months) to filter down to the UK/EU as we are lower down the supply chain.
@Millenwagon, pcworld is not a good place for component prices, as to your question yes the sandy bridge i7's are better, better enough to warrant the higher cost? that depends on what you plan to do with it.
eg for basic office/internet use both the BE 6core phenom and i7 are way more than you need or can ultilise so neather are really worth it.

It seems Scan.co.uk are now selling AMD CPU's at cut prices... You can get a Phenom II x4 955 for only £83.98 and a Phenom II x6 1090T for just £125.94!! The 'hot seller' seems to be the Phenom II x4 965 at only £99.55!
Now... Do i upgrade my Athlon II X4 645 to a quad or hex core Phenom II? Is it worth it? (i game quite a bit on my PC). Or should i just wait and see what Bulldozer has to offer?

Your motherboard may not work with Bulldozer.
Here is a comparison of a Phenom II X4 965BE with your Athlon II X4:

A Phenom II X4 955BE can easily reach Phenom II X4 965BE clockspeeds.

I know my current mobo won't work with Bulldozer... I was thinking about changing the CPU, motherboard and RAM (i believe Bulldozer uses DDR3-1866 RAM). Or i might wait and see what Ivy Bridge has to offer, but a Phenom II X4 or maybe X6 upgrade would be a cheap alternative for now (i can get a bit of money back by selling my Athlon II X4 645 CPU).
I'm not too bothered about overclocking anymore as i like to try and keep the power consumption and heat down if i can. A Phenom 955 oc'd to a 965 will still consume more power than a stock Phenom 965 (and will probably run a bit warmer too). I think a Phenom II 965 covers the 'sweet spot' when it comes to AMD CPU's.
