I just realized Scan have this case in the wrong section. Although its a tower, its actually an mATX tower so it should be noticably more compact than a full tower.
With both hard drive racks installed you get just short of 9" for a GPU but with only one in you get just short of 14 1/2"!

The Lian Li PC-A04B would be a great case if they made it 10mm wider
problem is there's only about 155mm cpu cooler clearance which rules out the majority of 120mm fan based cpu coolers, granted there's some good 92mm fan based coolers about but the fans do tend to rev up under load.

There is the PC-V354B which is wider, and my personal preference over the the PC-A04B the OP however wanted a "Tower", the V354 is more squat and not very tower looking. It can do the same thing of removing a tray for long card access (350mm). However only has 1x5 1/4 and the PSU is over the cards. It does also have a tray for 4x2.5" drivers. Going to build my next home server with one of them.
