Sexy Cases? Any like the Corsair 600T for cheap?

I used to love the Coolermaster Cosmos chassis and not the Corsair 600Ts are my dream but I really want to keep costs down (unless I go crazy, which is a possibilty). So tell me people, if you were on a tighter but slightly flexible budget, what would you suggest? (50 quid is ideal, more is obviously allowed for very nice cases)

It's over the £50, but the Fractal Design R3 for £80 I think is hard to beat - decent cooling performence, but very quiet (sound-deadening foam included) and understated, with superb build quality. On the downside, it is limited to 2x optical drives, but if that doesn't bother you, I can highly recommend it.

Apart from the lack of 5.25" bays, not really. If I was being really picky, the application of the acoustic foam can make a smooth sliding action difficult when opening the side as it can snag on large CPU coolers or GPUs, but apart from that I really can't fault it. Mind you, allthough I built into it for a teacher when I was at school, I haven't lived with it day to day.

You my friend are playing on my love for the Antec300 I like this, its a shame the Survivor series dont have this much fan support and intake dust covers.

I'll do a bit of reading into it but I might get one of those soon. It would replace my Antec 900 which, while it's a great gaming case and provides tons of airflow for hot components, it lacks fan filters and for someone who tinkers a lot, the HDD bays are time consuming to remove. My next choice might have been one of the Antec Performance One series but I didn't really want to spend that much, especially as this would be my fourth case for this system.

Actually the survivor is better than the shinobi, esp in terms of air cooling, with a 200mm in front and on top, the shinobi is going to be more like a sideways step from an antec 300
However it could well be the same basic frame in both just with different hard drive cages (I personally much prefer the sideways mounted hard drive cages.

Another you could look at is the new coolermaster Storm enforcer

granted it's going to be a bit over at around £65-70,m however inside there's lots of space for good air cooling (it's the same frame as the HAF 912 with a different bezel and side panel)

There is the XL, which is basically a slightly inflated R3, and takes the 5.25" bays to 4.

Can anyone recommend the BitFenix Survivor case at all? Its sexy as hell but whats the cooling like? Or would it be worth just getting the Corsair 600T?

I really like my 600t, it has lots of space inside. I have easily fitted 2 6950s and 2 separate watercooling loops.

The cable management is brilliant, so as the airflow. I've replaced the factory fitted fans though, they were a bit loud for my liking.

Clean lines, plenty of space (8 expansion slots and cards up to 290mm) , good tool free system.
Bargain if you don't "require" a black interior.

I use the R3 I have to say its not the best at cooling (well not when put up against my old Thermaltake Kandalf) but it looks the part.

Another satisfied R3 owner here, but as Jay noted the out of the box cooling is not great and it's worth throwing in some extra fans.

Well that's mainly down to it only coming with two very low rpm fans.
If you want tons of air cooling then all you need to do is fit a couple of these

and you will seriously out perform a stock corsair 600T . . . granted it'll no longer be silent and you'll have to clean the dust filters daily but on the plus you could fit a hose to your pc and do the vacuuming at the same time.

those fans are let jet engines! I added a couple of 140mm fans to the roof
