Cable recycling

Hi All,
Like probably all of you I have a massive box of cables. Some of these are useful and I want to keep them - Cat5e etc, but a lot of them are useless - gold plated scart/composite, old mobile chargers etc. Is there some site which will take these and reclaim the copper etc? I'd prefer they didn't go to landfill, but I don't really want them cluttering up the house!

You could see if anyone wants them on here / Freecycle? One man's junk is another man's treasure and all that.
