Find me a new HDD?

I may need to choose a new HDD, I want it primarily cheap and big

I had chosen the SATA3 1TB Seagate Barracuda (Is the barracuda a reasonable range? I cannot remember the order of things these days). I know the Sata 3 doesn't do alot too be honest but I don't remember what is good or bad. Either way, Scan forgot to save me one and went out of stock while they were waiting for my motherboard, and I don't fancy waiting for sutff again seeing as they dont seem to save me things for my order. So I challenge you to find me an equally good or better HDD for under £50 from Scan.co.uk

Cheers - I was under the imression the WD was for some reason a substandard version, what is the difference between green, blue and black versions?

Green is the low power one, black the premium performance drive, and blue the general, middle-of-the-road in terms of performance/power.

Like all things it depends what you want to do with the drive. If you want to get back your data really quick or multiple processes are using the drive then high spin speed is what your after, however if you use it to store videos or pictures for personal use cost of running that is more important.
