Please help me with what Hardware I need.

    Hi Guys.

I've decided that I would like to build a machine suitable for gaming, however I would like a low profile case.

I have selected Scans Isotope case (Link Below). Would it be possible for you guys to help me look at suitable hardware that would fit in the case, including a decent graphics card. I have already got an AMD Phenon II CPU and a 1T Samsung Sata Harddrive.

    scan.co.uk/products/3xs-isotope-with-silver-colour-chassis-uatx-w-o-psu

I understand with choosing such a small case would come with a sacrifice however would like to compromise and have the best possible hardware inside it.

    Thanks everyone.

Re: Please help me with what Hardware I need.

The description says a M-ATX will fit and any atx psu but recomend a modular one. You havent mentioned a budget so here goes:

    Asus M4A88T-M/USB3 AMD 880G AM3 Motherboard £71:86

    NZXT HALE90650M Hale90 650W Modular gold 90%eff £98:74

    Sapphire HD6870 AMD 1 gig £150:82

Or if you need more power

    ScanFX HD6950 AMD / ATI Graphics Card - 2GB £189:23 <-- bargain IMHO

    Corsair Memory Vengeance Blue 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 £73:34

Dont know if you have a low profiel cooler :

Scythe Shuriken Rev.B Quiet Low Profile Cooler 3 Heat Pipe £26:03

hope this helps and isnt to ott as the case isnt exactly a cheapy.

Thank you, you've been a great help.

I've got a budget of £500, I've already got a modular power supply shown below so hope that fits. And I also got memory shown below, so really its just the motherboard board now as that graphics card is fantastic value. Do you know of an more powerful motherboard?

Re: Please help me with what Hardware I need.

The MSI has a better chipset on it but im not sure I would say its better.

    MSI 890GXM-G65 AMD 890GX AM3

It also has USB 3 but will allow the use of crossfire where the Asus wont. It all depends upon what you want.

Your ram is a little OTT but very nice and the PSU is superb as I own the 750w model
