Thoughts on upgrade

Hi guys been pricing a small upgrade for my computer. So far my list has this

• Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM
• OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive
• Asus P8P67-M Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 MicroATX Motherboard* B3 REVISION *
• Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9)

What do you guys think? The total of that is £431 excluding delivery. Is there cheaper alternatives equally as good?
I also need to decide on a cpu cooler, really not wanting to spend the £40 being asked for some fo them.

Anything you would change? I haven't been following hardware as much this past year or more, mostly because it will stop me getting the upgrade urge

What are the main uses for your PC??

If it is gaming your PC will be fine for the next few months

I would wait until Bulldozer is released to see how well it performs. If I was getting a new system now July would be a better time to wait as prices should have settled down,there will be a better choice of motherboards and any potential issues should be known too. I have heard some rumours of Intel also launching faster clocked versions of the Sandy Bridge Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs too.

What do you think of the SSD? Is it overpriced or are there better? I would ideally need 120GB but there so darn expensive

OEM CPUs only have 1 year warranty by the place of purchase only.
Retail version has 3 years with the vendor no matter how long the store will cover for it.

I would advise a 120Gb myself, save a little longer if possible. I would look at a crucial M4 as they beat a Vertex 3(4k reads and writes) in all round ssd.

Yeah, I don't see why not, It's a quality PSU.
