The socket 1155 Pentiums have now been launched!

Scan seem to be stocking them today:

They seem to have the same amount of L3 cache as the Core i3 CPUs meaning they will have strong single threaded performance.

The 35W G620T should be ideal as part of an HTPC with the following H61 mini ITX motherboard:

    OK nice, thanks.
Have you seen any reviews yet? I've had a very quick look at the usual suspect review sites, nothing evident yet.
I agree that the 35W part looks interesting, and i bet it whips the lama's behind compared to alot of traditionally-comparable chips in that price range.

Edit: A google search gives me only the following review (translated from chinese):

The X3 450 still competes well with the G840 it seems. In StarCraft II the G840 has a big lead but in RE5 and GTA4 it is around the same speed as a X3 450. I suspect in BFBC2 and BF3 the G840 won't be faster than the X3 450.

Personally I think the Xeon E3 processors are more interesting, as its the lowest power server chips intel has done for some time. The E3-1220L is only 20W clocked at 2.2Ghz however can turbo boost to 3.4Ghz if only a single core is used, also you can get MATX boards with 4 PCIE slots (8x 8x 4x 4x).
