with an i7 and a stonking great price tag I'd hope not

My Acer 1825 is 1.6Kg apparently, I can't imagine it being that much lighter& not feeling far too flimsy.

I don't think price is a concern. The gent is quite senior, so whatever it costs to get the right machine, will get paid.
