ok it must be crap pic, that silver almost looks white to me and the pic in my link grey.

yeah i see what you mean with the black looking a bit grey - i guess they did that on purpose so you can see the detail more clearly than black on black

Yes , it really is a big boy.. are tool cases a real hassle ?

I mean could damage somthing by trying to screw a card , even if there was resonable space ?

It's clear anodised brushed aluminium with white plastic parts (side and top grills) and internal frame is white powder coated.
I think the internal frame is 0.8mm steel not aluminium, not that it would look any different after powder coating.
