Hey! I'm looking into building a computer using spare parts i have lying around and then planning on selling it on ebay. So I was wondering how much would you pay for....

755 socket motherboard (Gigabyte)
Intel e2140 (dual core 1.6ghz)
2gb ddr2
500gb HDD WD5000AAKS
Corsair 430w psu
Casecom KB-7760
DVD drive
Windows 7 home premium already installed

I also have a 9600gt that i could throw in. I was looking around the £250-£300 mark or am i being unrealistic?

As PC World are selling this for under £300 brand new with warranty I think you are being unrealistic. Welcome to Hexus by the way.

Good point thanks, was hoping to make a tidy profit but dose not look so promising now lol

How much would i realistically be getting for the rig then in your opinion? Do you think that I could add value by overclocking and pushing the fact that im using a quality power supply and so on?

Trying to save money for a new monitor btw

To be honest I think you are looking at between £100 and £200 but then again I'm the only comment so far so don't take me for gospel

You will also need to check the Windows licence is valid for the system (not OEM from another machine etc.)
