MSI Sandy Bridge B3 Replacement Help - Anyone From MSI Here?

    Hi folks,

    I've a bit of a problem!

I brought a MSI H67 motherboard back in Feb from a local store and managed to lose the receipt, went back to them in regards to getting the motherboard replaced with a B3 version, no go as I couldn't provide the receipt.

Now, I was recently made aware that MSI had a SB motherboard replacement program in place, so searched around, found it only to find that the deadline had surpassed as of May sometime, arghhhhhh.

So NOW what do I do? Am I left to use this motherboard as it is? What were the original issues on the SATA ports again? What ports were affected?

The machine is used throughout the day so I want trouble free usage from it!

So any idea what I can do?

    Thanks!

Hopefully you bought the mobo with a creditor debit card.

Get proof of the purchase from the bank and go in and speak to them again, being really nice.

Simple you need to just ask the store manager to look at the date and ruff time of purchase, if you dont remember the date look at you bank account see when you took out the money, or if you remember buying or paying something on that date. or ask them to phone HQ for a copy of your recipt.

Thanks for the reply mate, appreciate it.

It seems to be a lost cause, only thing I can see left is to contact MSI Netherlands to see what they say about this I guess.
