Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Hey there guys!
I'm looking at getting the Corsair 600T White Graphite Series Mid Tower Case for my build. However, this build won't be at least till Christmas. I'm even contemplating waiting for the Janaury sales. However, my heart is set on this case and Scan sells it as a 'limited edition'. I'd like to know: is it actually a limited edition, or will it still be around next January?
Thanks very much. I am in love with this beautiful case, and if it really is limited I'll get it ASAP.
Thanks again! :3

Okay. Many thanks. I'll send an email now.
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Funny thing........ in some reviews I read the white one has better cooling figures?
Mine is winging it's way to me at the moment:)
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Yes, the white one was released after with improvements. The cooling was one of these improvements :)
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Well not really, all they did was put in higher rpm fans, the higher rpm means they push more air, which improves the cooling, However that added rpm also makes more noise.
The other thing they did was the window, which can be removed and replaced with a mesh side panel for more fans, although as with all large mesh side panels means you're letting lots of dust which makes the front filters rather redundant.
Basic truism, fans number+speed-size=airflow+noise
You can greatly improve the air flow of any case but putting in higher rpm fans, however you are going to to have a much more noisy pc.

I just got mine out of the box....it might be noisy & utterly huge
IT DOESN'T HALF LOOK GOOD:p

Haha! Brilliant!
I got a response from SCAN:

It's in a limited production run until corsair decide to end its lifespan.
As such, we couldn't 100% guarantee when this will be discontinued as we would not get informed of this until we tried to purchase another batch of the cases.
I also got one from Corsiar:

Unfortunately we cannot comment on future cancellations or launches of products, but as long as the 600T white sells well, we see no reason to discontinue it.

 I fully agree with you I think both versions look great.
It's not that noisy, just noisier when the fans are turned up to full, with the fans on low it's dead quiet, so is the original version and the cooling is about the same on low.
But at the same time I don't think the cooling is that bad ether, I'd not want to put a pair of overclocked gtx580 in sli with a super overclocked top end cpu, but I'd not rely on air cooling for that anyway and the graphite is not geared for water cooling, that's what the obsidian 700d and 800d are for.
The hexus test showed that a i7 980X with stock cooler the difference was a MASSIVE 2.5c

A base of 46c on a stock cooler is actually good air cooling, just because some cases can do better doesn't mean this case is bad ;)
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Pob, thanks for the info, I think your right after taking it out of the box I thought it was huge, not so much....now special with all the stuff I want to put in it:offtopic:
Sorry for going off a bit, it is well put together, not sure I will get all the cooling in their I want though
It is nice to get away from big black box's
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
You'll be surprised what you can fit a a small box ;)
One key thing the graphite has is width and width is a key factor in easy cable management.
Re: Corsair 600T White - a limited edition?
Here's a quick note
a 200mm fan should move roughly the same amount of air as 3.36 120mm fans at the same rpm
most 200mm fans are in the 600-800rpm range to keep noise down.
It is more complex than that of course as there are other factors involved when you put fans into a case (eg pressure differentials, flow restrictions, etc) but that's a good rough estimate
