Smile Could someone spec me a PC? :L

    Hello there,

I am looking to build a PC for gaming. I realise that without a full HD monitor I will not be able to have "great" graphics . My monitor is 19" and has a resolution of 1366 by 768.

I never looked at the resolution when I bought the monitor as I thought any HD monitor will do. Regarding gaming which scenario would be better?

Buying a build (including everything except for a monitor) for £650? I will then think about getting a better monitor in the future.

    or

Buying a build and monitor etc etc (so absolutely everything) for £650?

I have been suggested specs with a monitor but I feel that if I was later on going to get a better monitor in the first scenario I would have a much better PC build? I have had friends saying though that I might get a lot of input lag due to the resolution of my monitor atm.

PS: I have a previous thread about this but I think this place is more appropriate. I also would like someone to spec me a build because i'm not sure what to do. I know nothing about computers.

Ps: I have the Windows 7 OS and only have a HDMI lead.

    Thanks very much.
