Choose an enclosure you like, and then choose whichever drive you like the look of, you'll get the core drive cheaper that way too and will usually get a better deal, and you won't end up with the bundled software that comes on some external drives.

If your only going to use it on a desktop PC you could use a trayless rack and get a faster transfer speed and the convenience of being able to use several bare HDD's.

Why not go for a usb docking station - that way you can choose what sata drives you want to use from your collection and it is easy to swap them over at your leisure, rather than farting about with enclosures.:rockon:
