Cheap Spotify centric audio PC build, any ideas?
Hello & welcome all
This is my first post and what I hope will be my first build, Apologies if I've posted in the incorrect place.
Please don't be afraid to patronize me I'm extremely dense think of me as being the love child between rocky & sloth from the Goonies, Adrian!!!....Ruth! Ruth! Baby! Ruth!
This build is merely practise run to give me the confidence to invest in a hi end gaming rig
But at the same time I'm open as to weather I'd simply be better off investing in a small media pc for the same money such as advertised on Hexus the Sapphire Edge HD Mini PC
but at around £248.00 simply for use with Spotify is this overkill?
it'd be nice to keep the system well under the £200 mark as much as possible but not at the cost of system stability yet this might be unrealistic.
Example:
Case: Antec Minuet 350 cheaper alternative aesthetics of no importance
Windows XP or ubuntu which is better for use with Spotify? a decent Sound card.
Are there any good up-to-date PC Hardware Buyer's Guide websites URL any of you could recommend, in respect to Hexus I'll omit in part such as on bit-t##h
Thanks for reading I can only hope some of what I've said is legible
Feel free to stray off topic as I invite any opinion
Please forgive that I may be tardy in responding as I'm on a shared computer.

This should do the job:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/267867
The computer should also be fast enough to run Windows 7 too.
One of these monitors should also be fine:

Or an all-in-one PC and built in 20"monitor for £229 (£213 with quidco):

..hard to beat considering it comes with dvdrw drive and pre installed with windows 7 home premium.

After eleven days since my last post it seems rather redundant posting again on this thread but
