    Logitech - Impressive !

    A good news story.

Back in the dim dark days I bought a Logitech MX518 from a well known etailer. This month it started disconnecting and reconnecting to a chorus of USB beep-boops. I rang the etailer who told me that they only covered the warranty for the first 12 months, after that I should call the manufacturer.

Fair enough, I thought, and a quick Google later I was on the phone to Logitech's customer service. We went though a few quick diagnostics over the phone, new drivers etc. The operator informed me that it did indeed appear to be faulty and that a new one would be couriered to me forthwith. I have received various tracking emails from UPS, and can see that my new mouse is currently in Barking on it's way to me.

Thanks Logitech, quality work. I'll be buying more of your products just as soon as I get a job !

they are not as good as i emailed about a couple of keys that are starting to play up and they wanted to collect the keyboard and leave me without for god knows how long while it wings its way abroard.

i ended up hitting it a few times to keep it going a bit longer.

    Re: Logitech - Impressive !

i've had some good experiences with them too got a keyboard mouse combo for a friend and the batteries leaked into the mouse and killed it. Logitech sent out a brand new replacement set and it wasnt even the original batteries either

Even if their record isn't perfect, re: Gonzo's post, I don't think there's a better firm out there in terms of post-sales service.

    Re: Logitech - Impressive !

glad I have no need to vouch for their support, my G5 has lasted long enough that I'm happy to replace it with a G500 but it refuses to give me any reason to as it's still alive and kicking
