Compatibility check? Parts and Hey! :D

As i said before im hoping to learn allot from this forum but im having a dilemma. Ive been thinking of getting a new tower to replace my seven year old destroyed tower. This thing lasted longer than any laptop i ever had and i really want one of my own now seeing that ive learnt quite a bit about parts but not enough to understand compatibility.
