    Thunderbolt GPU dock

    http://www.anandtech.com/show/4569/v...or-thunderbolt

Was to be expected really with an external PCIe interface but power supply concerns me - something like this needs its own power supply and I fear this will be a rubbish 12v power brick with no additional filtering. I'm assuming they would supply something since if they said you need 'a 12v power supply', how many people would be attaching their 30w laptop PSU? Hopefully they get it right and don't go too far with cost-saving.

In the mean time, DIY ViDock - make your own 'ViDock'.

A PCIe x4 link through thunderbolt would be nice, an x8 link would be better

    Re: Thunderbolt GPU dock

I agree a non-proprietary PCIe link would be better than Thunderbolt.
