Price Check: Acer 1825PTZ ultra-portable touch screen laptop
I've an Acer 1825PTZ 11.6" touch screen laptop I'm thinking of downgrading to a non-touchscreen, was a kind impulse buy/treat but now I'm not travelling for training so much anymore I just don't need it. Perfect nick, boxed with everything.
I'm normally one who thinks "Google/eBay it for yourself" on price checks but I can't see much activity on ebay or comparisons so I'm wondering what people think?
It's multitouch, swivel screen, luuuuurvly gadget! :D
Any thoughts on price? :)

If you'd been selling it a month or so ago I'd have happily given you £200 for it :) If you find the right buyer you might get nearer £300 for it though, what with the touch screen and all. It depends if you're looking for a quick sale or best price. I'd be amazed if you couldn't get at least £250 for it.
In fact, I'm very tempted to offer you a swap with my 3810TZ, but I think the wife might kill me if I did ;)
EDIT: and the Hexus mods of course, since swapsies aren't allowed on Hexus... ;)

Actually I believe Zak once mentioned that trades where money swapped hands is ok....
The one you have (or similar) is probably what I need really, would get some cash in my back pocket & have the same performance.

Yeah, not easy to find though. Dell Outlet occasionally has Inspirons based on the Athlon Neo chips, but it's a bit of a lottery from day to day. I'm happy to admit that I was lucky to get it for £200 off here, but that was all the money I had available at the time.
If I was you I'd be tempted to stick it out for a bit, maybe look at dual-booting with Android X86... ;)
