    Cable TV through my PC

Okay, i bought a digital freeview card for my PC and it's cack. The signal around here isn't very good, and for the time and the money I've decided I'd rather just get cable. So I presume that I can just buy an analogue TV card for my PC and run the cable box into it?

Yeah, I think it does. Will the quality be worse than with a digital TV card? Cable itself is digital quality, but I'll have to run it through the analogue TV card.

If you get a good quality tv card then the picture you will get will be the same quality as what the cable box was giving out.

Any recommendations for a decent TV card? I dont really want to pay a fortune, otherwise I might as well have stuck with the digital card

Difficult as I know this will make your task, I dont really want to spend more than about £40. If it's not possible to get a decent card for that kind of money, just a recommendation of the best one I could get would be good
