    Internal USB header/pinout

Ok so I was just going to plug the usb header onto my mobo when I noticed that one of the white wires had fallen out. I spent a few minutes trying but couldn't work the clip system out. I wondered if anybody had already repaired these and could give advice please...
    Thanks
    Chris

    Re: Internal USB header/pinout

The wires are usually crimped onto the pin (or socket) and then pushed into the housing. A tine on the body of the pin (or socket) stops it falling out again. If it has fallen out, examining the pin and easing the tine out gently with a small screwdriver or a pin should do the trick. Be careful not to snap it off though.
